Why are welded aluminum alloy cases more durable than riveted cases?

Simply put, welded aluminum alloy cases are more durable than traditional riveted cases because the welding process fuses the aluminum plates together at the molecular level, eliminating gaps and the possibility of physical loosening at the joints.
